A color photograph of a gray shingled house with a deck, on the right.behind it to the left can be seen the deck of another, darker house and behind that the roof line and windows of yet another house. Beyond that is a dark structure that appears to be a retaining wall. There is white wave froth coming from the ocean on the left of the picture and the sand underneath the houses is wet.

The house in the foreground is at the end of Calle del Sierra (see #483) the deck visible behind it is that of the Von Kuglegan house and the house behind that is Syd Boyle's (see #482). This photo was taken at low tide. At high tide during this period of time the water would go under (or over) all the beachfront houses.
