Description:
A color print from a slide in our collection of the Tuesday Night Band rehearsing for the Firemen's Ball in 1984. From the left: Agnoli, Vasco/Crandall, Harriet/Agnoli, Valentino/Abbott, Nick/Crandall, John. The Tuesday Night Band was created by David Murray who was the musical instruments teacher at Bolinas Stinson School and the director and conductor of the West Marin Community Chorus and Orchestra in 1980. It consisted of the students, parents and other interested adults. It practiced on Tuesday nights. It was disbanded when David and his wife Susan moved to San Diego in 1986. It performed at local fairs and holidays.
