The scene shows a group of 14 men and women standing in a row and facing the camera. Behind them are tree covered mountains and before them a large expanse of sand. At the right of the picture and just in front of the people is a flag pole stuck in the sand, showing a white skull and crossbones on a black background. The clothing appears to be from the early 1900's.
