Description:
This black and white photographic print is hand colored. It is of two people in costume as an accordian player and his monkey. The man on the right is wearing a battered fedora, a red neck scarf, a grey jacket and brown pants with red patches sewn on. He has a large false mustache and is playing an accordian. Next to him and attached to him by a leash is a person in a monkey suit. This person (probably female as she is considerably smaller than the man) is wearing a monkey mask with a little red toque perched on her head and a red vest over brown clothing including brown shoes and brown gloves. A brown tail is visible. The monkey person is scratching her ribs, monkey style. They are standing on short cut grass. Only the figures are colored leaving the grass and the background black and white.
