This black and white photograph is of a crowd of upwards of twenty people, many in costume standing on the steps of Airey's Store. In the middle a woman is seen (Ruth Miller) holding a piece of paper in her teeth. There is an open umbrella in the upper left corner, an open Japanese style parasol on the upper right corner and a man dressed as a fireman in the middle of the front row. The last three letters of Airey's Store are visible behind the people in the upper left corner.
