Description:
This black and white photograph is a panoramic view of the curve of beach which forms Bolinas Bay. The far end of the bay is enclosed by a jut of land (Bolinas Peninsula) and to the right of the beach is a wetland (Bolinas Lagoon). The photograph is taken from a hill, looking down on the ocean, and there is a fence and a gate in the right foreground with fences and a building beside a large Eucalyptus farther down the hill in the left foreground. A few houses of the town are visible over the top of the gate. The buildings and fences are part of White Gate Ranch.
