Description:
Panoramic view of the White Gate Ranch house and barn taken from the hill above the north of the Ranch. The house, two larger barns and the eucalyptus trees which still stand today are on the right front, Panoramic Highway crosses diagonally on the photograph. A wide ranch road from the house crosses the highway to join present-day Dipsea trail. In the middle left of the print another smaller ranch building stands, the electrical line connecting it to the house. In the upper left is the present-day fire road which leads to an old Bunker site of World War ll and part of present Dipsea Trail. Cows are grazing on the far hills toward ocean. Dated in ink 11-7-48 on the back.
