Description:
A colored print from a slide of a painting by Thaddeus Welch. A dirt road leads down towards Bolinas Bay and Stinson Beach, although since this is a completely rural scene it should probably be identified as Rancho Baulines. Three grazing cows are in the foreground close to a fence with an open farm gate beyond which a small area seems to be cultivated. The Bolinas Peninsula and Mesa are painted green as is the foreground with the cows but the area inland from the curve of the beach seems sandy for quite a distance from the beach area.
