The photograph shows a road leading up to a gateway before a wood plank bridge. Over the gateway is a sign saying WILLOW CAMP and in smaller letters on the right Dipsea Lodge and on the left Furnished Cottages. At the left side of the photo is the cut off figure of a man. (see notes)

The man standing beside the entrance to Willow Camp and Dipsea Lodge is Newman Fitzhenry who built the lodge in 1918 using wood from the torn down Dipsea Inn.
