Description:
A watercolor painting of a very lush green landscape with a coconut tree in front and banana plants and green trees on the background. The painter's signature, Schneider '31, is painted in a brown-orange tone on the lower center of the painting. On the back of the painting, written in pencil, is "Schneider - Stinson Beach Artist - Nina purchased his house after his death." Nina is probably one of the Pepper family who still owns the house and who also owned house next door down the hill. It is framed in glass with clips. On the back of frame, a 3x5 card is attached with the note: Original Watercolor by ..... Schneider ca.1931 signed. Gift to Helen Bever, she gave it to her son Barney Bever who donated it to the Stinson Beach Historical Society on 4/10/09.
