"Dipsea Day in Stinson Beach", "Waiting for the Dipsea Trail Runners", "Olympic Club Race" are written on the surface of the photo in white hand writing. It shows the downtown buildings from the left 3425 ( present Healing Center address), 3455 (present Book Store area) and 3465 (Bungalow, present The Breakers) on the left of the road where people and automobiles are lined up. On the right is the Dipsea Indian banner and perhaps the corner of Sea Beach Hotel Roof . The writing "Olympic Club Race" is on the cypress tree in front of it.
