This black and white photograph shows a wave breaking on a single story house. The house is high on pilings and has a deck with an open railing. Farther back, to the right, is another section of the house with a closed,shingled railing. The wave is breaking over this solid portion of the house. The spray from the wave goes up considerabley higher than the roof. (See notes)
